Warranty

 Gili products are covered by a limited 6 month warranty from the purchase date. All products are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship which affect the satisfactory and safe operation of the item being warranted. The liability of Gili is limited to repair or replacement of only those items determined to be defective and shall not exceed the original price of the product. The decision to repair or replace will be made by Gili staff. Abuse, mishandling, or alteration/modification of our products will void all warranties. This includes attaching shoulder straps

Gili offers replacement for broken gear that falls under warranty only. Carrying scuba tanks inside is not their intended use and will not be replaced(won’t name the shop we witnessed doing this).  Although Gili gear is flame retardant, it is NOT fire-proof, so keep them clear of campfires and falling embers.  Sometimes fish can break gear and accidents can happen, so we have decided to discount replacement products for customers so they can restore their gear to full working order at a reasonable price. Please email us at info@giligear.com  explaining the issue with the product. Please include at least two pictures and a detailed description of the problem. Shipping cost to and from Gili is the responsibility of the owner.

 

Please follow the next steps when submitting a warranty claim:

  1. Before shipping any product to Gili, please contact us by email at info@giligear.com explaining the issue with the product. Please include at least two pictures and a detailed description of the problem.
  2. In your shipment, please include a copy of your email correspondence with your Gili representative, your contact name, telephone number, return shipping address, and email address.
  3. A Gili staff member will contact you to process payment for the shipping.
